WSO Mist Collector
The Donaldson Torit® DCE® WSO mist collectors provide filter solutions for thermally generated oil applications and are ideal for restricted space conditions. The WSO mist collector uses revolutionary Synteq® XP filter media engineered for superior draining, resulting in lower pressure drop and longer filter life. The WSO mist collector design has several configurations such as machine mountable and single machine stand mount to meet your plant’s requirements.

The Donaldson Torit DCE WSO oil mist collector uses Synteq XP filter media, a revolutionary media for mist collection, with proprietary, resin-free bonding system stabilizing pore structure for better performance. When compared to traditional media, this means:
- High efficiency, optional final HEPA-filter provides 99.97 % efficiency on 0.3 micron mist and smoke
- Low operating pressure drop
- Longer filter life
- Up to 45 % more filter surface area than pocket filters and round cartridges
- Best fit in rectangular cabinet
Dirty air flows horizontally through the walls of the WSO filter, perpendicular to drainage of collected and coalesced mist. This design promotes optimum drainage, which extends filter life and returns collected coolant for re-use. Conventional mist collectors have an upflow design impeding drainage and causing short filter life.
The WSO oil mist collector is ideal for lean work cells. As machining operations change, it can be modified with a simple filter change, leading to leaner operations, cost savings and cleaner plant air environment.
