Dryflo Mist Collector

The Donaldson Torit® DCE® Dryflo® mist collector is the first cartridge collector developed specifically for mist applications. It is designed to collect and filter oil, water-soluble and synthetic coolant mists from a variety of machining operations and other industrial processes, reducing the risks of mist related hazards. It can be used individually or in combination to meet the needs of your wet machining operation.

The Dryflo design has several configurations such as machine-mountable, central system and packaged system that can meet your plant layout requirement. The Dryflo cartridge filters contain three stages of high efficiency filtration and are easy to change when maintenance is needed.

Features

The Donaldson Torit DCE Dryflo mist collector provides high performance mist filtration when used individually or in combination with a wet machine operation.

Donaldson Filter cartridge technology of Dryflo collectors significantly outperforms electrostatic precipitators as well as mist collectors that used standard HVAC envelope, cassette filters and centrifugal force.

The Dryflo mist collector provides a high filtration efficiency of 99,8% – as per NF X44-060, by independent laboratory CETIAT – France.

Filter media are specifically engineered for mist collection. All Dryflo models include three-stage filter as a standard feature.

  • Mist first filters through the Dryflo washable pre-filter.
  • It then encounters a special outer wrap that allows the filter cartridge to drain and prevents the collected liquid from entering the clean air stream.
  • The final stage enlists gravity to promote the drainage process through vertical orientation of the filter cartridges inside the collector.
  • Unique retention system allowing easy filter change for fast collector maintenance and minimal worker contact with collected oil

As the cartridge filter loads, the pressure drop increases predictably, and a pressure differential gauge indicates precisely when filters need to be changed to maintain operational efficiency.
