It is suitable for promoting the flow on wide diversity of materials especially fine powders such as fine dust in the dust collector, toner, flour, lithium-ion battery powder which exhibit poor flow characteristic in the silo, hopper, chute and pipe.

Unlike the air vibrator which is not effective against certain types of material such as fine particles or adhering material. During operation, the micro vibration created by air vibration will in fact deplete the air between particles which further compact the material and make it more difficult to discharge.

 The impact force of the air knocker can be easily adjusted via unique valve mechanism (patented) by varying the compressed air supply.

The ability to adjust the impact force will enhances the air knocker capability to work on unforeseen circumstances such as changes of material characteristic due to the process.

Beside working as a standalone unit, the air knocker also has a relay piping feature (patented) which could link several air knockers together and operate with an operation panel. This feature is extremely useful where several air knockers installed on a same silo/hopper and it could significantly reduce the control component required.

Cascade arrangement

Comparing to other air vibrator with similar impact force under same working condition, the air consumption rate per impact of the EXEN’s air knocker is lower by as much as 30%. The energy saving is even up to 85% if comparing it to piston vibrator (In-house comparison)

The interval of the stroke can be adjusted to as short as 1 second compare to others which is having at least 3 seconds intervals. This short interval is useful for those applications that require rapid knocking.

With its simple and yet rugged construction, it can operate up to 1 million strokes without failure (according to in-house testing, excluding RKV120P). High reliability means minimum production disturbance which results in higher productivity.

Suitable for food and pharmaceutical, petrol-chemical …etc, where corrosion resistance and hygine is preferred. Furthermore, for frequent washdown application in hygienic process, the sanitary model (RKVS15, 20) which using ferrule cramp mounting can be quickly dismantle and assemble in seconds.

The fully pneumatic controller (AOC-1B, HKA500A) is purely driven by compressed air from Exen’s original air compression technology for timer control. It simplifying the installation work and suitable for potential explosive environment.

We also have electronic controller to cater for interfacing with PLC or Scada system for remote operation.
